Sims 3 is the ultimate life simulation game where characters interact and live a virtual life in a pre-designed virtual world. The premise of the game is basically that you (the player) can create and control the characters and you can also modify the way they behave by putting them in various situations. The Sims 3 downloads can include locations, features, and possessions which allow the player to make the game more realistic and fun.
Many of the Sims 3 downloads are developments of previous features already found in Sims 1 and 2. With various expansions of the Sims package comes extra features, however certain objects that are exclusive to the expanded packages can also be downloaded. Jacuzzis and cars are just two examples of the kinds of objects that are available for download which can improve your Sims world.
Locations
Hidden Springs and Barnacle Bay are two of the locations which a player can download. Each location comes with its own climate and relevant default settings. Barnacle Bay for example has a number of beaches to select. Its themes are “the outdoors” and “the sea”.
Hidden Springs on the other hand is a more metropolitan and image conscious location. The themes of this town are predominantly “health and beauty” and “wealth”, therefore luxury content is available when this location is downloaded and Sims can relax in pre-designed spas.
Houses
Luxury houses can be bought in the Sims Store and are also available for download elsewhere. This means that default houses can be used, but to create different neighbourhoods (such as more cosmopolitan areas); larger and more extravagant houses can be placed there.
Furniture
Stylish chairs, tables, plants, beds and even stand-alone bath tubs can be downloaded as extra add-ons with the Sims 3. Certain free downloads can give you basic objects on top of the furniture the player already has access to. More contemporary furniture designs can be purchased if the player wants to give their Sims a more luxurious lifestyle.
Overall, the Sims 3 downloads are great for anyone who wants to expand their virtual world even further. With various settings and additional features, you will soon have a complex and diverse world where your Sims can interact.
